Tools reference

Every action the Assistant and connected AI clients can take in your account. Both use the same tools, and every tool only sees your own data.

Writes? In the Assistant, ✎ tools pause for your approval (unless Approve all is on). For a connected app, ✎ tools need a write scope.
Scope is the permission a connected app needs. The umbrella read / write scopes cover every …:read / …:write.
Lists return results, a count, and truncated: true when there were more. The default is 50 rows, and limit can raise it to 200.

`ask_user`	Asks you for missing details, such as a due date or which editor. The request waits for your answer.

Invoices and payments, Insights, Settings, and deleting anything are web-app only for now.
